NTA detects further delay in meter launch

The NTA Metropolitan Mass Transit System is unable to publish tenders for building tunnels in time, and the more aviv document seen in “globes.”

Metro network includes 300 kilometers of tunnels under 24 local authorities in Tel Aviv Metropolitan Region. Planned lines run from north to south, east to west and in a semi-circle.

Statutory regulations for all lines have been approved by the government, such as the correct 70, to regulate the land market and take advantage of the potential for a large increase in building rights. It will be part of the metro network finance, which spends the estimated NIS 150-200 billion. Half financing from the Ministry of Finance, and a half to improving the land, taxation, and developing value.

A second posting and probably not the end

Meter build will be done in two parts. The first part, which should be completed between 2034 and 2037, includes 78 kilometers, 59 stations and three train depots.

Unlike work in Tel Aviv Light Rail, built line by line, the meter plan intends to build a small network and slowly expand it, until the whole network is in place. So work in shrinking all three lines will start simultaneously.

In this purpose, NTA presented contractors with about six months ago, based on the company to publish the construction tenders of 2026, so the actual act of swinging a year later. However, NTA does not meet these schedules – Dates for printing tenders transfer – and open dates will be returned.

The Metro has been scheduled to start operating years, so a delay now, for a project that should open nine years, will happen. However, the definition is wider: work on the earth has not yet begun, and has a second delay in the project.

To take off the project, it is estimated that the government is ambitious to start operations early 2030 and 2034. After it returned 2034-2037 to be returned again. From the past experience of Israel’s projects, the underlying suffering occurred before construction began but many delays also began after work.

Work to build Tev aviv light rails green and purple lines posted by the end of the decade, after construction began. So while it’s it a second posting for the meter, it’s never ending.

NTA adopts a new method

The latest postponition is related to additional projects that depend on the extermination step, which built signs of transit, and building apartments, and making factories in the foreign apartments. All of these issues are in addition to the tax imposed by local authorities and property owners near metro stations. That lifting is related to improving the assets and life of the city – but it is also posted.

NTR asked geopolitical statuses and the limited country’s ability to attract foreign companies to compete for many tenders.

There is a logic behind these claims, but for many years the Government ministers warn that the NTA continues to organize the project organizing, and clearly teaching the new CEO Ben-Meir, the project posted well.

As reported by “Globes”, the detailed planning of lines and printing of tenders has been delayed because NTA plans to plan plans. Industry companies are already concerned, because the initial episodes for tenders have not been published, such as the initial bark at first publication of the first and a critical bark of market market.

NTA is adopting a new strategy in which the schedules dictated to managers and employees relate to three-year plans and not to the project’s target date, and this is based on the assumption that not lead to an acceleration of work, while shorter-term, more focused plans, might.

Posting tenders also means a deviation from the plan for the coming years dictated by the government’s NTA. In spite of a complex and widespread project such as meters, infrastructure industry companies must be certain, especially at a geopolitical instability.
