A Winning for Good News and Wild Camping | Rights of land

We are pleased to the Supreme Court strengthen the right for all of the wild camps responsible for Dartmoor (Report, 21 May). The wild camping is a unique and memorable experience that can bring a more enjoyment of solitude, independence and adventure that many people cannot reach their daily life.

In generations, young people camp Dartmoor as part of their duke in Edinburgh’s award. For those who struggled with the cost of living and mental health crises, protection and expanding our beautiful countryside – with all the benefits of freedom and mental and physical possible. Now is the time to defend their right to explore the famous outdoors and go to the beaten track, and we are pleased to have done the Supreme Court.
