Update Monsoon Arriva: Southwest Monsoon is set to Kerala on Saturday, May 24, marking the first season of rainy season in 16 years, according to the National Weathering Agency.
Arrival monsoon is eight days ahead of its normal standard, according to IMD.
Often, the monsoon period reached Kerala from the beach of June 1.
With the monsoon setting above the beach condition, it marks the earliest time since 2009, when the arrival was recorded on May 23, according to the data shared by the IMD in X (former Twitter).

The weather forecaster predicts “severe rainfall in” remote areas of Konkan and Goa, Madhiya Mahranashtra, South Intort Karnataka, and Saturday “on Saturday.

- Total Goa
- Parts of Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh
