Letters to the Editor: Why did it take a long time for LA to make the crisis of its homeless crisis?

Letters to the Editor: Why did it take a long time for LA to make the crisis of its homeless crisis?

In the editor: Each guest of Brian Lyvy, 50,000 people live in the streets of Los Angeles County (“LA now puts a real foundation to solve homelessness,” May 21). Los Angeles Support System is permanently issued about 20,000 people per year. Meanwhile, more than 60,000 people are homeless every year. This means current policies and programs will never solve the problem despite the billions of dollars spent each year.

Wouldn’t it be time to be more chronic when it comes to more realistic and can be effective way to solve the problem? It reminds me of the saying, “stupidity made with the same thing that always changes and looks forward to different consequences.”

In the editor: Levi said that, a decade or such homeless los angeles, the board of La County supervisors are now described as “a set of ambitious and achievable purposes.” Leasing presents it as a reason to celebrate. For me, it represents the cause of depression.

Commandments across the country have avoided different levels of success in this issue. Officers who respond to LA’s homelessness have 10 years to explore the most successful programs and best practices elsewhere, check the most scalables and after a program that is consistent with ways.

The tendency wrote, “the purpose of explaining is an important step early.” Right. Ten years, the county gets an important step early. In what universe should it have fun?
