In the editor: We’re here again, another bright idea of Gov. Gavin Newsom (“The Newsom is seeking short cutting process to build a $ 20-billion water tunnel in Delta,” May 14). For the last time, it was the rapid train system, delayed many times because he, or other powers could not get the land for the railway and at stations. The costs will end billions of dollars in overrides.
Are California citizens who allow this kind of thing to happen to them again or have a definite budget of all land, etc. Will we guarantee no overrides?
May the politicians give this project some important mind from getting-walked.

In the editor: The Newsom said, “Our state must complete this project as soon as possible, so we can better keep and handle water to prepare.”
Come: It is likely to be the only ruse of politicians, unions and contractors. It’s all about money and a little to do with water.
