A change in genus Monolem Gertsch, 1941 (Aranereae: Tetrimbedmmiidae) in Central America and the Caribbean

Abstract

The armored spider genus Moneblemma Gertsch, 1941 has been changed. The examination of type species of CaraimaAtta Cambridgingti (Bryant, 1940) from Soledad, Cuba indicates that the species strayed into the genus Caraimatta. Here the monocmemma is based on the evidence of morphological and designated senior Since Since Monoblemma Goarmorei Shear, 1978. A new species, Monobomma Cubaensis Sp. Nov., described from Santiago de Cuba based on both sexes. Motivation of Monoblemma Browni Shear, 1978 at Shearella Lehtinen is returned, the species were rededicated, and the woman described the first time. The images of type species in Monoblemma Unicum Gertsch, 1941 were given, with an updated distribution map and a key to identifying species of genus.
